From The President – Ken Nitschke

The MWA board has been addressing a number of issues.

After hearing about the work Habitat for Humanity has been doing in Midland County, led by one of our own, the Board expressed interest in building something useful for the house being built this year. Folks that are interested in starting on this should contact the President.

The Board is in the process of having 3 classes, one on segmented bowl turning, puzzle boxes and clock building. The segmented bowl turning class will be started soon. The puzzle box and clock building classes will probably start this Fall.

The Board is discussing what to do with the library. Should we purchase more books, videos or CDs?

If members have interest or input on these topics, contact the President or any board member.

Welcome
